Since this forum specifically allows coverage of ACARS, I thought those of you that are like-minded might like to know that we have a ACARS wiki page set up with software, operating notes and so forth. In addition, there are something over 3 dozen different Yahoo groups devoted, either directly or indirectly, with the subject, and I have no doubt there are groups on other list servers as well.

Feel free to add your favorite software, tips and so forth.....73s Mike

Wasn't able to edit the page, someone may want to add 130.45 as an active ACARS freq.

You must register with the Wiki before you can edit (there's a small line in the upper right hand corner that should say 'Create An Account', I believe). Don't worry, it's free.

Been running acarsd attached to the ( modded ) line out circuit of my 2052. The 2052 is attached to an outside ratshack groundplane. Most activity is on 136.8, second is on 130.45. Located in central NC, USA. Switched to acarsd from wacars and never looked back.

What mod is this? That's something else that, if it's not out on places like mods.dk, should be on the 2052 wiki. More details, please 73s Mike

Did the line out and FM disc taps. Using the line out for ACARS is much easier than trying to use the headphone jack.

I've been decoding ACARS for a couple years now. I use the following frequencies here in Philadelphia:

129.125
130.025
130.450
131.125
131.550
136.700
136.850
