Acars?

Hello Everyone,

I just acquired a BC350a, I have read that this can decode ACARS w/o an discriminator tap, if so what do I have to do to program ACARS in to the scanner?

You need to get an audio lead to connect your headphone output to you computer soundcard input. You will also need ACARS decoding software. Very good decoder (which also happens to be free) at:

Program your local ACARS freqs into your scanner and away you go.
