Access feed status

I would like to add my feed status to a website. Is there a way to obtain feed status without viewing the RadioReference site?

I had tried that script and the only item it would show was a number (possibly the connected feed count). I could be wrong but I think Gordon had said this was operational yet and to only use the direct links for now.

Yes, that is correct. It shows the number of connects to the feed or it shows "Offline" if the feed is down, which is basically what I want to show.
