accessing the 996XT hidden P25 settings remotely

I am running into the problem of having to change one of the P25 "hidden menu" settings without touching the radio as it is located elsewhere and controlled by ProScan. I looked through the serial commands and cannot spot any. I can turn off the radio remotely but cannot cycle the power (which would be helpful for clearing temporary lockouts) nor access these hidden settings.
Looking for a confirmation that there is no hidden serial command to go with the hidden serial menu.

There is an undocumented serial command to change the APCO level setting. It should work on all T and XT digital models.

AOP,APCO_MODE,APCO_LEVEL[\r]

APCO_MODE: fixed to 3, cannot be changed.
APCO_LEVEL: 1-200

This command requires you be in program mode.

I can get AOP to work but cannot get either of the other commands to work with the 996XT or T. I am using ProScan and sending commands in the test tab. I can set it in PRG mode and clear it but both the APCO_ commands keep returning ERR.
