Active DEA Freqs.

Have been hearing quite a bit of activity on the DEA 400 mhz. freqs., all activity in the Philly area but good copy near Bear, probably because they are using air surveillance, plane or helicopter not sure.

So, you might want to have a listen.

The most active freq. is 418.900 in digital mode followed by 418.750 with traffic occasionally on 165.235, 165.285, and 171.650

Yes, There is still alot of fed traffic to listen to. It doesn't provide the instant around the clock action of typical PS but is worth dedicationg a radio in the shack to.

165.2375 is US Customs
165.2875 is ATF
171.650 is independence Mall sec.
416.125 is Philly DEA
168.350 is So. NJ FBI

All are heard on a regular basis clear / P25 and Enc.
