The Larimer County Sheriff's Office will be hosting two Active School Shooter Training exercises for local law enforcement in Larimer County.
These training exercises are focused on providing consistent training, familiarization with smaller agencies in the area, mutual aid/resource mobilization, and to facilitate a smooth, coordinated effort should an active shooter, mass casualty incident or other critical incident occur in Larimer County. Local agencies participating include the Larimer County Sheriff's Office, Colorado State Patrol, Colorado State University Police Department, Timnath Police Department, Colorado Department of Parks and Wildlife and Larimer County Parks Department.
