Description: Officials searching for a suspect in an officer-involved shooting at the Newark Penn Station that occurred over the weekend have now halted all Amtrak and New Jersey transit service passing through Elizabeth, NJ . The suspect was last seen running on the New Jersey transit tracks in Newark and officers now believe that the suspect might have boarded an NJ-transit or Amtrak train in the area. Police are now searching the Frelinghuysen area after perusing the Weequahic Park area. NJ Transit reports that Northeast Corridor and New Jersey Coast Line trains are experiencing general delays of between 45 and 60 minutes due to the ongoing police activity.
