Active Shooter TRAINING

[FONT=Calibri,sans-serif]Homeland Security notified us that there will be an active shooter training event held at 16401 E CentreTech campus next Wednesday, October 8 from 9:00 – noon. This building is just east of us. A few different agencies including the Aurora Police Department will be involved – about 150 officers total. They want to minimize the amount of police calls asking questions as there will be a large police presence in the area. This is only an exercise. Aurora PD was using TAC-32 (TG-1845) for this. It sounds like they ended the exercise at 11 am and are going into the debrief now.
