Active Shooting near I-75 Laurel County

Multiple sources and media platforms reporting a active shooting by I-75 near mile marker 49 in Laurel County.

Unknown how many injuries or fatalities.

KSP Officials are stating the shooter has not been caught at this time.

Interstate is currently shut down with both Northbound and Southbound lanes closed off.

Awaiting for more information.

Potential Suspect description has been posted on the Laurel County Sheriff's Office Facebook page.

32 Year Old Male White approximately 5'10 and weighs 154 lbs. Armed and dangerous believed to be carrying a rifle with numerous ammunition.

The sheriff's audio said the suspect purchased an AR-15 rifle & 2,000 rounds of ammo earlier today
also, the suspect's sister n law Reported that the suspect threatened to kill her & her family didn't give a timeline for when the threat was made

It's funny how all kinds of LEOs searched the entire area for a couple of weeks then within 2 days after the law enforcement stopped searching a YouTube vlogger found him close to where the shooting occurred
