Activity on Duluth Simulcast

I monitor one site from my home. That site is 05-043 (Duluth - Simulcast).

I am using two different versions of UniTrunker to observe this activity.

The New version has been running since December 7th, 2011 and Retro since September 20, 2012.

Here are some numbers as of today 10/14/12.

Since 12/07/12 I have had at least one hit on 389 Groups and 3343 different Users (or Radios if you prefer).

Since 9/20/12 - 232 Groups & 1755 Users have been active

Since 10/07/12 - 167 Groups & 1023 Users (This is a one week period)

Since 10/12/12 - 94 Groups & 569 Users (Friday to early Sunday)

In other words this is just showing activity on the site and not simply new Groups or Users.

Duluth PD Main used 37300 up to about a week ago (10/07/12) and then switched to 37804 for their main. The previous 37300 stayed inactive until a single User popped up there on 10/11/12. This leads me to believe 37300 will still show some activity but maybe as a secondary Talk Group.

37804 has only 3 Users as of this morning but when they switch over to ARMER for good the number of individual radios showing up should increase dramatically.

I hope the audio quality improves. Both Duluth PD channels and the St. Louis county channels sound terrible compared to their analog counterparts.

Thanks for the information Bruce. I had noticed 37804 showed up, but thought it was a patch from 155.640 and didn't realize they actually switched it.

I knew it seemed like there was a lot of traffic on the site and it's nice to put some numbers to it.
