For anyone in the Grand Traverse area, the channel known as "Adam-2" ( 155.925 / 162.2pl) has been re-instituted by central dispatch for county road commission units to call into dispatch if they need assistance (dispatch has the ability to call directly on road commission's MotoTRBO system, but does not actively monitor it). The repeater is located somewhere near River Rd and Keystone Rd.
This will likely be short lived, though, since road commission is planning on joining the rest of the county's public safety community on the MPSCS system eventually. Transmissions will likely be rare on the adam-2 channel, but this weekend during the blizzard they were heard advising dispatch that they were discontinuing plowing of anything except trunk lines and highways, so it might be a good freq to slap in the scanner.
