Adam,Baker and Charlie calls

Ever since the Cunningham change over I've noticed control labeling calls Adam,Baker or a Charlie response call. Could someone tell me the difference between the 3? I would think an Adam call would be the worst, and Charlie call being the lowest. What goes into deciding witch it is? Thanks in advance for your time and answers.

Just the opposite Charles actually.

Alpha - Minor (private amb for example in Littleton)
Bravo - More serious
Charlie - Poss life threatening
Delta - Serious/Critical
Echo - Pretty bad..
