Adapter ?

I have an A/C to D/C adapter rated 120 v in to 12v 1.6 v out. Catalog no. 23-428. It has a right angle barrel connector at the other end. If possible, could someone tell me what this went to.

A RadioShack universal Ni-Cd/Ni-MH battery charger. The power supply output is 12 VDC, 1.6 amps.

Perhaps I wasn't clear in my response, but the adapter you reference was supplied with a "RadioShack universal Ni-Cd/Ni-MH battery charger", product number 23-428. Normally, when an adapter was supplied with a RadioShack product, the catalog number of the item was also imprinted on the adapter as well. That said, you should be able to use this adapter with anything requiring 12 volts DC current up to 1.6 amps, provided the tip is the right size and polarity, which I believe is positive-tip.
