Over the last few weeks, I have been scanning the "JAIL" site in open mode. Here is a list of some activity I have caught on to just by listening but the only one that I have heard confirmed is TG 1696- Bravo POD.

1152 ADC-Jail No Activity
1472 ADC-Jail No Activity
1504 ADC-Jail water flow alarms talk?
1536 ADC-Jail Alpha POD?
1568 ADC-Jail Charlie/Delta POD?
1600 ADC-Jail No Activity
1632 ADC-Jail Maint/Janitorial talk
1664 ADC-Jail Intake /Health Services talk?
1696 ADC-Jail Bravo POD
1728 ADC-Jail Transport talk to local hospital
1760 ADC-Jail No Activity

Anyone have any ideas? I am confident but not "confirmed" in TG's 1536, 1568 and 1664 (intake). I heard 2 officers talking on TG 1696 one officer said to another "you are on Bravo POD channel, go back to your own channel" I don't know if that is confirmation enough.

1. What amount of listening time would be required to confirm those ADC channels?
2. Are you willing to spend that much time listening to routine activity?

All I need to know is that the TGs belong to ADC, so I don't program them in.
Scanner memory is a finite resource, so I don't program jail TGs.

I live near the jail. I have these prgramed in, but only turn that bank on when bored, or I hear something is going on at the jail. It would be good to know what the TG's are

I have been listening to these channels exclusive for about 2 weeks now. In order for me to call it "Confirmed", I need to hear something like I heard the other day with the Bravo POD traffic.

This is one of 5 scanners I own so therefore I am NOT dedicating all my time to this one group. I just have them running in the back ground scanning the Jail site in open mode.

As Viper stated, it would be nice to know what the channel is used for, maybe someone would find the info useful if that is what they choose to listen to.

It is not for me to judge what others choose to listen to.
I have met people who think scanning police and fire radio
is boring and a waste of time. To each their own.

Personally, I can only afford one reband capable scanner,
So my '500 is dedicated to comms that I find more interesting.
Sorry if I offended anyone.
