Adding frequencies to a 295 scanner

New member here and first post.
I have just bought another handeld scanner, GRE PSR 295 as my current PSR200 has a damaged casing and battery cover.
On the 200 all frequencies were added ad-hoc and not assigned correct chanel numbers.
The 295 has a lot of pre-programmed frequencies with the correct chanel numbers assigned and I monitor these marine chanels as my main interest.
My question is, can I add other frequencies to the Pre- installed list ?
I cant find a way of doing this via the hand book.

Hi Green, welcome to Radioreference. I'm not too familiar with the 295, but it sounds like the frequency may be hard coded into the radio firmware. I suspect there may be a method to remove all frequencies and add your own however, as long as the frequency set just resides in the channel memory. I take it the manual doesn't mention it.
