Yesterday there was an Exercise in the Adirondack MOAs (Viper Airspace, Fort Drum Range, Wheeler-Sack AAF) involving NY ANG Tankers, Omega DC10 Tanker out of KPSM, VT ANG F-35s, NY ANG MQ-9s, and unid F-18s. It looks like it might be active again today (13th) from 1100 EDT to 0000 EDT. Active frequencies were 149.100 (for entry/exit) and 340.425 (possible AR or testing), other reported frequencies were 148.800, 149.525, 149.875. Any reports appreciated.

Update - after reviewing some LiveATC archives from yesterday some aircraft mentioned the exercise as being called Jaded Thunder.

"Jaded Thunder has occurred routinely since at least 2011 and there are multiple iterations of the exercises each year, likely in part to rotate JSOC personnel through the courses before or after operational deployments."

War Zone Jaded Thunder
