I have noticed the last few days when transmissions on Ingham County EDACS lands on 460.2875 Mhz,
the signal keeps chopping in and out.

Today, I tuned up and down from that frequency and found the probable source; data burst on 460.2375.
I looked in the RR Database and found the only licensed entity using the frequency, and that is Dundee.

I have a hard time believing that I'm receiving signals from Dundee all the way to Eaton Rapids.

My question is this. Is anyone else experiencing the data interference on 460.2875 or could it be something in my area causing the interference?

63 miles line of sight from Dundee to Eaton Rapids isn't uncommon to hear during a band opening; which likely is what has occurred this morning given the humidity and cloud cover all over southeast Michigan. Ingham County has had issues in the summertime with data bursts on their channels, which is very common for UHF propagation effects. The average spacing between shared frequencies is 90 airline miles, so it's likely that the Dundee station is violating it's ERP from it's license, either through a higher gain antenna or a mis-programmed transmitter.
