Here's a quick comparison of these two ADS-B filters. The filter is first in my receive chain -- ahead of my preamp -- and then into the F/A dark blue dongle.
I first purchased this Mini-Circuits VBFZ-1065-S+ filter. It does a good job but it's a W I D E filter:
I just picked up the FlightAware 978/1090 filter recently and it's very impressive -- especially at its price point. It's much narrow in frequency range, and while it may not improve my stats, I'm still going to use this going forward:
