ADS-B use

Does anyone have a list of airlines that use this format? Was thinking about getting a radar box but if no one is using it (which i think is the case) it may not be worth it.

Almost all aircraft use some sort of ADS-B.
However if you are talking about full mode S position tracking only the foreign
airlines use is mandatory but more and more US airlines are using
everyday and eventually will be mandatory in US also someday.
I have Airnav radar box and find it very useful and entertaining.

Most of the freights like UPS,FED Ex.are almost 100%
USAIRWAYS getting on board with most new aircraft deliveries.
Continental,Jet Blue,American Airlines,to name a few are also getting more.
Course all the foreign airlines are usually 100% trackable as well as
some USAF passenger types and US Navy E-6B types.
Typically around here I'm seeing 100 aircraft at a time on log with average about
6-12 or so actually tracking.
The rest of non-tracking aircraft though you do get ID,altitude,alrline,model type,
and registration.Amazing how many private corporate jets are out there as well...
Some of those track also.

You can download the "Jan1 - July2, 2009" excel file I uploaded on this yahoogroup file area.
Anything with a "Y" is ADS-B equipped. It will give you a idea. From those that was picked up over Southern California area.

Aircraft with ADS-B are all trackable.That is what that ADS-B list stands for.
A trackable aircraft will also show up with a Y labeled in a column indicating it is full mode S
type.

Sorry, maybe I'm just not asking it right. I'd prefer to see flights on the map, rather than just logged as a list. My understanding is Radarbox does both ADS-B and mode S.

So the "Y" column means its plotted on the map, correct?

Correct!, tracking real time like aerial GPS on a map screen.
