Not sure if this is the correct forum for this or not..

Anyway I have compiled a list of all B52 seen recently on adsbexchange. I have been able to verify most of the ICAO hex id to tail numbers. These are the aircraft I have not been able to verify the tail number to the OCAO number. The web page cross reference may be wrong.

60-0032 - AE5582 confirmed
60-0033 - AE5883
60-0034 - AE5884 *needs confirmation
60-0035 - AE5885 reported the same as 60-0037 * needs confirmation
60-0036 - AE56AE *needs confirmation
60-0037 - AE5885 *needs confirmation
60-0038 - AE5886 confirmed

I do have the full list of all the aircraft if anyone wants it.

Yes I have where possible. its a bit of a uphill battle as I need to see the aircraft in the air heading to a destination then find someone who has pictures of the aircraft at that location. Airshows are good and some higher profile deployments like to Fairford or Guam.

All I've been using is the ADS-B Exchange Database, which is not as complete as your list. All I've done is match the hexcodes to what look like are B-52 flights. Comparing lists.

The only hexcode I'm aware of that looks like a B-52 that's not on your list is AE6CA6 noted flying out of Minot in May 2022.

60-0036 - AE56AE *needs confirmation
AE56AE has been used by a helicopter since at least August 2020. No B-52 type flights noted in the last 2 years.

60-0045 - AE588A
60-0048 - AE588A

Did you possible mean AE588B for 60-0048 ? Although no ADS-B hits on AE588B since August 2021.

Missing from your list is 61-0008. Latest info I could find was active in 2015.

All the rest of the hexcodes appear to match B-52 flights in the last 10 months.

I must have lost 61-0008 in a C&P

61-0008 - AE589E
60-0045 - AE588A
60-0048 - AE588B < - was a typo

I have 2 B-52 marked with AE56ED 60-0031 and AE56AE 60-0036. I agree these 2 codes do not fit in with the rest of the fleet. Nor are there any holes in hex list where they might fit in. I have been compiling the list for several years and each entry is confirmed either visually by locals or photos and press releases etc.

Mike you are correct its a typo.

I am redoing the list in a xml format. I will also be confirming the ICAO and tail numbers with the usual direct visual confirmation of the aircraft. The new list will be including the base and wing assignments as well as the nose art name. Anyone wishing to contribute can PM/conversation me so that the thread does not get filled with posts. I will upload the current list to this thread every few months.

This is an example for a confirmed aircraft

Gary,

I have been researching the B-52's for the six years I've been into plane spotting. I'm by no means as good as a lot of these guys. Here is what I have to confirm for you:

60-0034 - AE5884 *needs confirmation - Yes
60-0035 - AE5885 reported the same as 60-0037 B AFRC blue/red BD *needs confirmation - Yes
60-0036 - AE56AE *needs confirmation - I have AE56EA
60-0037 - AE5885 *needs confirmation - I have AE5886
60-0038 - AE5886 - I have AE5887
60-0041 - AE5887 - I have AE5888
60-0042 - AE5888 - I have AE58A5
60-0048 - AE588A - should be AE588B (u have as same as 60-0045)

61-0004 - AE589B *not verified - yes
61-0005 - AE589C *not verified - yes
61-0007 - AE589E *not verified - yes
61-0016 - AE58A5 *not verified - yes
61-0017 - AE58A6 *not verified - yes
61-0019 - AE58A8 *not verified - do not have as being active
61-0028 no info - near Marvell, AR 07/22/22 per Glen Hosey is AE58AB
61-0029 - AE58AC may have been AE58B2 - I have AE58AC
61-0032 - ?????? To GB-52H maintenance trainer at Minot AFB, ND per Joseph Baugher
61-0036 - ?????? AE58B1 - near Marvell, AR 03/10/22 per Glen Hosey
61-0038 - AE58B1 *not verified - I don’t have listed as being active

If you send me a direct message, Gary, I will send you my list of siting's of B-52's.

Great additional info Mike. I see a conflict with 60-0042 and 61-0016. 61-0016 looks like its going to be the correct ID (AE58A5) for that tail number. I have attached the current work in progress .xml.

For anyone contributing I will edit up the .xml and post the updated version every few months. Again for a tail number/ICAO to be confirmed I would like a visual confirmation of the actual aircraft and the ICAO captured. I do not need to get a copy or picture etc just posting the information in the thread is perfect just like Mike has done above.

One final note. The doument is a .xml if you cannot use that format PM me and Il will send you the text equivalent.

Here is the bimontly update on the ICAO/ tailnumber document. I have not been able to add any visual and matching Fligth24 or ADSB confirmations to the list yet. I will continue to update and plan for a Jan 2023 as the next update.

I have noticed that sometimes an aircraft will be spotted on one site and not the other. General question other than Flight24 and ADSB is there any other tracking sites that might be worth checking out?

some more updates. Anything in pink is confirmed. Ill update the list again in a few months.

This list can be forwarded to adsb, flightradar24 or any other tracking site. The information was gathered using those services.

Thank you for the clarification.

Q anyone know how to set up ADSB to filter for a range of ICAO IDs? I can enter in individual IDs separated by || but for the whole fleet its impractical. If ADSB cannot do this perhaps the developers can look into adding it as a feature?

these are the tail numbers currently not known or seen active. Being able to search the ICAO range would give me a chance to spot the aricraft even though they will currently show up as Unknowns in ADSB/Flight24's database.
60-0016 not known/seen
60-0042 not known/ssen
61-0022 not known/seen
61-0025 not known/seen

61-0021 ICAO AE58AA unverified
61-0028 ICAO AE58AB unverified
61-0038 ICAO AE58AF unverified

One more thing we are starting airshow season. If anyone can capture a B52 going/coming from an airshow and pictures of it at the show to verify the tail number I will be very happy to add it to the list. Talking of the list I will be uploading a updated version soonish. I would just like to have a bit more updated data in it for everyone.

Short answer, you can't. However you can limit the ICAO IDs received by entering AE58.. which will return anything starting with those first 4 characters.
