Hi all,
Found that my Advancetec AT1000NPC charger has recently stopped working in that it only charges 7.2 volt batteries to about 25% of rated capacity... where as the same battery charges to 100% capacity in an OEM charger.
The AT1000NPC is still sending 11-12 volt pulses to the battery, and the power supply for the AT1000NPC is putting out a good regulated 12.0 volts. I suspect that what is happening is that the 11-12 volt pulses being sent to the battery are being quite current limited due to some fault. I'd like to try to fix this myself, but would need a schematic to help (and it hasn't helped that the manufacturer has sanded off component IDs)
