?/Advice RE: ARRL

First off, hello (again!)- am back from a sabbatical of sorts i.e; dry-wallin'/re-modeling. RR sub. expired, I renewed 2 days ago.

Made the decision to go for a lvl 1 license (bought class/manual) potentially aiming for AExtra depending on that "post-lvl 1" feeling everyones been talking about (clunky joke).

Question is simple.

Any general advice?

Having no prior experience with 2-ways, any recommendations?

(ps. anyone have csv/freescan/arc Xt pro files for all things STL-Metro? So much has changed!)
