Sad 😢 to hear about this. I do know that many websites are being maliciously targeted and it is taking more time to thwart the cyber attacks than time spent keeping a website current with new information for site visitors. AE7Q is obviously done with putting up with this difficult scenario. Sign of the times, I guess.
Sad to see, but I figured it was coming. Site was a target for hackers, for some reason.

damn, sad to see all the sites that people utilize the most being targeted by malicious groups and billionaire chatbots.

I don't blame him one bit.
I'm retired and just turned 80. I'm the President of one amateur radio club and the VP of another. I'm also a member of ARES and participate in their activities regularly. I also edit and publish the newsletters of the two above clubs. I'm already beginning to dial back some of my ham radio activities. I recently resigned a section-level position, not so much because it took a lot of my time but because I was no longer interested in doing it. I've also, for all intents and purposes, dropped out of several ARES related nets.
Us old guys can't continue to do all the work. It's time for some of the youngsters to step up and seize the reins.

I hear you on that. I’m getting old myself. Passing the baton is the right thing to do. One just hopes it is a nice, smooth transfer.
