I have one of these and have been searching for software. So far no joy.

The other question I have is there any work around for the RS232 connection. Will a RS232 to USB adapter work or will I run into problems with hardware control (Similar to the issues with old Motorola programming software (Spectra).

Thank you for your help

Allen,

I have one of those too so I'll be interested to read what others have to say. I've used RS232 to USB adapters with other ham radio equipment without any problems. If that will work then it's just a matter of running a terminal program on your pc to access the DSP2232. Now that you have reignited my interest, I may give it a try to see what happens and if I do that I'll let you know how it goes.

Interesting - some of these modes are also usable outside of ham applications. It will be interesting to see if this is still a viable option; most all of the data modes (with the exception of the newer PACTOR modes) are available for soundcards...Mike
