Does anyone know what a 'wildcard" id group would be for a EDAC system? I'm not going to assume it's just 00-0000. Any ideas?

That would probably work - why don't you just leave it in search mode? I know on the 780, you can put as much as your want of an ID, then leave the rest to the scanner- i.e: 01-011 thru 01-019 would be picked up by putting 01-01 in my 780 (the scanner puts an x or a dash in the place of the last digit (I can't remember exactly)).
