Aeromedical crash, Medevac 7

I am confused. Is this post about a helicopter (medevac 7) crash? Or about a crash where 7 people were medevaced.
I have found no info with local news outlets.
If you mean that this is a crash involving Medevac 7, would this be Stat Medevac 7?

I thought the same thing. Dave must be smokin some good stuff 
Medevac 7 crashed. 1 pilot 2 crew with serious injuries.
I don't know if it was stat medevac 7. I just know them as Medevac 7.

As reported by WBRE-TV Channel 28, this chopper was Medevac 7 based in Pottsville. 3 survivors as reported above. It was enroute to a MV in nearby Wayne Twp.

Federal aviation officials will be in Pottsville Saturday to investigate the Lehigh Valley Hospital Medievac 5 helicopter that crashed in the 1400 block of Laurel Boulevard in the city around 8:50 p.m. Friday night during takeoff.
According to scanner reports, a medic and a nurse sustained minor injuries in the crash. The pilot was reportedly uninjured.
Firefighters at the scene had to block air intakes to deactivate the helicopter after the crash.

This was LVH Medevac 7. I believe the news article listed here is mistaken. They were taking off going to an auto accident when they lost power and landed in a lot. Initial reports were all 3 were medevaced out, but then more reports say minor injuries. I tend to believe the minor injuries, as it seems the bird was not very high up at all. I've been following this story all night. (Gotta love nightwork)

MEDEVAC 1, 2 & 4 did a check in this morning however negative on MEDEVAC 7, late Friday I herd LVH#2 waiting for two of the birds at Queen City Airport.

The helicopter crash that you describe occurring near the Mazzuca helipad
is being investigated, separately, as an accident jointly by the NTSB and
the FAA. At present this investigation still ongoing and has not yet been
completed. Several of the preliminary findings about this aircraft's
performance are still in the process of being confirmed for accuracy with
the aircraft manufacturer.
I will share with you that it does appear that
one engine (this helicopter had two engines by the way) experienced a loss
of power during the takeoff, so the scanner reports that you mention would
seem to be at least partially accurate. And, there may be some validity to
the fire chief's statements as posted in the local newspaper as well. We
have been able to ascertain that the second engine was running up to and
probably continued to run for a short time after the crash.

does not indicate whether or not you were a witness to this crash. If you
were, we and the NTSB would be very interested in having you make a
statement about anything you may have observed during this unfortunate
event. Please contact me should you wish to provide a witness statement.
