AF1 heads to Atlanta Thursday

AF1 will be headed to Atlanta for the first presidential debate on Thursday. It should arrive at Dobbins Air Reserve Base just before 3:30pm. Departure will be very early Friday morning, before 1am.

I ran out for a photo at 2:57 local. In and out of the clouds. Had the HT on 121.0 Atlanta Approach but nothing heard at that time.

Had the HT on 260.9 while doing chores but didn’t hear anything. I should get a scanner or get an antenna for the RTL-SDR…

Clouds finally cleared and I got visuals on KC-46 and F-15.
