700 is Canada Parks CPO in Jasper.

One other thought regarding Mudary's logging in Bashaw. Agency 410 is beginning to look as if it is ALERT. They have a fixed wing surveillance plane. Could the plane have been on the Rocky tower and due to the height of the plane Mudary was able to log it on the input channel?

Late last night I thought the same thing. There was traffic I could see on SDRconsole 803.xxx input, but did not tune to those freqs.

I'm looking for unmonitorable units TG in my area. What towers they use. Alix, Ponoka 1, Stettler are the strongest.

Parks Canada does not have Community Peace Officers. The 2 CPO's working in Jasper are employed by the town.

I just got an unencrypted call on talk group 1073 on site 096 (Bankers Hall) - doing radio testing.

Getting lots of encrypted traffic on TGs 3499 and 4066.

Do you think 4066 would be CP police related? not sure as they are on lots (unencrypted) on TG 4061.

1073 Is AHS SVC 8 (service 8, like in radio techs).

4066 is certainly in the talk group range of CP Police but I can't confirm.

3499 has me stumped for now.

Just this moment I saw 410xxxx radios on 3496, and we had come to a consensus (I thought) that 410 was ALERT, so I would wager 3499 is another ALERT channel.

Edit: I'm indeed seeing 410 radios on 3499 here as well (on PRO96COM).

Jay I'll join you on that wager and yes I believe the consensus was that 410 is ALERT. We now have to re-think those 356 to 370 talk groups we thought may be ALERT. We certainly see those used throughout Alberta.

That 3505 group in Grande Prairie is an RCMP Surveillance channel. Did the id's have an agency number of 444?

BTW, didn't see the earlier question about 4066. I see 4066 thru 4112 as being used by agency 405 with full time encryption, never heard a clear peep. I don't think they're CP PD (agency 655). I have no clue who 405 is except the agency number leads me to believe they're a GoA group.

My radio didn't show the ID #, did not know it was a RCMP Surveillance Channel. How'd you find that out?

My first thought was ASIRT but that's lots of talk groups for a smaller agency like them. Have we pinned down any groups for Environment?

AEP appears to be, as far as I can tell, Agency 404 with TGs 4041-4050 in the clear. Callsigns EO#### and EPO####.

TG 3510 and 3511 ID: 4100XXX has been appearing a lot on the Medicine Hat tower. Also Medicine Hat Police has now gone full encryption. TG 3892 is ch1 and 3893 is ch 2. ID: 5100XXX. Seeing 3894 (assuming ch 3) as well appear full encryption

So I thought I should turn on radio ids to see what agency we are dealing with. So far I have i4100539 for talk group 3499. Any ideas who 410 is?
Nice to talk with you again Harry! It's been about a decade!

I think the consensus is that 410 is ALERT (Alberta Law Enforcement Response Team). Harry, you said earlier we should rethink the 3xx groups that we previously thought were ALERT. For what it's worth, I have seen 410 radios on both the 35xx ALERT groups and the 3xx "ALERT" groups.

Hi Mike it's been like two decades or when we were trying out a brand new Uniden 250D on the new, at the time, Calgary police P25 system, Great to hear from you.
