Are you seeing talk group 931? It appears to be a NCC group in use up there with 411 Id's.

Also if you are able to confirm control channels on sites 235, 240 and 238? If so the database and the map could be updated for your area.

Yes

Site numbers not talk groups

So this past weekend I've noticed that all of the NW AHSEMS repeater have gone silent. I see UID's showing up on the AFRRCS site in and around Grande Prairie. Does anyone know if AHS has officially gone live with AFRRCS province wide? even the paging channel is silent to all stations. Am receiving UID's and TGID's on...
235 - Grande Prairie
240 - Saskatoon Mtn
238 - Beaverlodge
225 - Demmitt
218 - Wapiti
217 - Debolt
etc...

In the database these site numbers were listed as talk groups which is not correct. The new site numbers for the database are 235, 238 and 240.

If I had the frequencies for 235, 238 and 240 I could fix those sites right now. Otherwise, we may have to wait for thundermedic to log in and fix it up.

Thanks for this.

Unfortunately, I'm ready to start my commute here in "the big smoke". I'll get to it later or thundermedic will. It'll be corrected by this evening. :)

Okie-dokie, I've added the sites and removed the AHS talkgroups.

I hope someone can provide the lat/long's for the new sites.

I didn't add the VHF though.

I have three groups logged recently with no identity:

38 - tons of testing here with a tech tweaking a site. RIDs lead me to believe this might be Harris.
41 - Just a couple of comms including "leave it on this group for now". RIDs indicate likely Harris.
501 - RIDs in the 402xxxx range (new range not yet seen by me) with an adult male talking to a child who is 'down by the lake near the fallen logs'. (????? Maybe somebody took his radios home for 'testing')

All the RIDs I've tracked on Okotoks talkgroups so far have been in the 10000 range, and all the RIDs I've tracked so far from Coalhurst have been in the 110000 range. So I guess "the first three digits" would be 001 and 011 respectively.

For the sake of interest here are some other radio ranges I've seen...

401xxxx - Commercial Vehicle Enforcement
411xxxx, 412xxxx, 413xxxx - AHS of course
990xxxx - SOW cache radios (seen during YMM wildfire). Speculation: 991xxxx is the other SOW's cache, because...
992xxxx - Harris testers
995xxxx - Customer testing (Motorola, other radio shops, etc)
002xxxx - Somebody testing on tg 128

Now I have a question for you (and everyone else):

Anybody know what law enforcement agency uses "Wave" (or something that sounds like that) as a communications and/or MDT system? I've got recordings off MOTO 1 tg with them doing some operational testing and referring to using AFRRCS instead of that device/service. One unit's callsign or vehicle ID was L15154.

We have been testing a moto mobile and on the moto1 channel Cp police was testing.
And I'm sure 002 is black diamond.

Site 05A-173 has been renamed Pine Ridge from Panny River. I guess it can be confirmed now in the database and map. 773.18125, 773.43125, 773.68125 and 773.93125.
