Woo! That was fun! I got to shake Ahhhhnold's hand and talk to him for about 45 seconds. :D It was funny... He cracked my hand when he shook it.

I had my 330 on CloseCall the entire time he was there. Here are the frequencies I picked up. If anyone can ID some of them, thanks in advance.

You're lucky to be on the citizen end of that meeting. I've done DP work with the Lt. Gov protection people. So much fun, I just did't know what to do with myself. Spent all night outside a meeting hall sitting in their car while he was attending a memorial service.

And of course had to be back in the office by 0900 the next morning.

Well, DOfE wanted to see the vocational department of Salinas High, so I had 2 different offers... Work in the technology department with my friend who I've known forever, or work in the FFA dept, with a slim chance of getting to meet him, so I picked the tech dept...

The pre-event staff came by, then Secret Service-style CHP officer came in, looked around, the K-9 came in sniffed everything (including me...), then the press came in.

Arnold came in, I was working at a circuitry, he came up, I shook his hand, said my name is John, blah blah blah, and he asked me some questions, and I shook his hand again, then he went to his press conference.

After the press conference, I got to shake his hand again, I asked him if he flew on a particular corporate charter jet company (because my aunt is his flight attendant), and then he was gone.

I walked over to my friend and told him to ask if he's ever owned a Pinzgauer (because me and my friend both want one)... He was so, so, so surprised to have asked that question. So me and my friend got to talk to him for about 30 seconds, then he went out the door.

It was awesome.

Here's a Pinzgauer for those who don't know what they are:

Oops, sorry Kirk... Didn't answer your question.

What happened was, I just put the scanner on a desk and let it Close Call - Search And Store the entire time. I don't think it records tones... I'll check though.
