AHS/EFD POCSAG Pagers

Hi all,

Recently been working on a project to start capturing NOAA and METEOR imagery and discovered my QFH antenna prefers to pick up the POCSAG pagers on 139.950MHz instead of the satellite traffic on 137MHz. Major harmonic interference every time one of these pagers is keyed up. I'm just north west of downtown Edmonton - is the repeater nearby or what's a guy to do?

You will need to get a notch filter to eliminate it. It’s a very high power transmitter in downtown Edmonton. There are other transmitters but I can’t remember where they are.
