Hi, although I live in ILL, but by using ADSB, I can see frequent tracks of KC-135s that seem to racetrack between Oshkosh on Fond du Lac. This is not what I think is a standard Air refuelling route nor is it in an MOA that I can detect. I have programmed all the frequencies I can find for Volk Field and any mention of air refueling normally used there. I can hear the KC-135s reporting into Chicago Center as they leave the area but I never can find their air to air frequencies. I assume they are refuelling F-16s out of Madison or elsewhere. Any ideas as to where I can find these frequencies?

There are several AR routes in WI. fairly close to Oshkosh.
AR 107 324.6 am
AR 109 (H)igh 343.5 am
AR 109 (L)ow 327.6 am
AR 321 276.5 am
AR 640 a 305.5 am
AR 640 b 291.9 am

add these 2 frequencies as they are alternates in case the primary frequency is not able to make communications.

320.9 am
282.7 am
Let us know what you hear!

These were all found in the DOD AP-1B book that is occasionally uploaded here on RR.
Maybe someone else can post a link.
Be advised this is a Large document, about 600 pages worth and the refueling portion is towards the very end.

Living in the Appleton/Oshkosh area, I frequently listen to the refueling occur and most commonly, they are on 291.9 (640B Refueling Primary Blue-3) as mentioned above. The comms usually include checking in once they are within 30 miles of Oshkosh and then air-to-air comms with the jets for refueling. They are typically working with the F16's (callsigns Badger, Bucky, and Judge) out of Madison who are rotating between the Volk East/West MOA and then the Sheboygan MOA occasionally, which essentially takes the jets out over Lake Michigan. August is also a very high traffic month due to Northern Lightning occurring out of Volk Field, which lasts for about two weeks over most of Wisconsin. If you look in the database, for the Volk Field and WI ANG frequencies, you may also pick up additional traffic.
