Air Canada Emergency - Landing Calgary

Just heard an Air Canada flight (I think it was an Air Canada flight, didn't quite catch the callsign) notify Winnipeg Centre ATC that they are having a problem with their flaps. Sounds like they are unable to extend their flaps. Requested ATC to have fire crash equipment on standby in Calgary.

They are declaring an emergency.

Aircraft is over southern Saskatchewan now, should be in Calgary within the next 30 minutes or so, I would guess. Again, not sure of their exact position.

No further communications heard.

Westjet 517 Emergency in Calgary

Sorry, it is not Air Canada, it is Westjet 517 that is having the emergency. They have just been handed off from Winnipeg Centre ATC to Edmonton Centre ATC.

I won't hear anything else from here. Anyone in Calgary might want to start listening to Calgary ATC or Calgary Airport Fire.
