Usually quite boring comms about fuel use, number of passengers, expected times etc.

Search between 129 - 132 MHz, standard 25Kz steps, for most company freqs

The frequencies may be boring to some, but they're certainly not boring to me. I'm someone who's listened almost entirely to high altitude ARTCC sectors and airline ops frequencies since 1974 and I hear something new and exciting each day. Yes, there's plenty of comms that don't interest me, but there's also plenty that do. In my 32 years of listening, I've heard virtually everything imaginable.

I live in extreme Southern Illinois and I'm lucky to live directly between the three busiest airports on this planet (Atlanta, Chicago & Dallas), so there's hundreds of airline flights and business jets which fly above me each day.

For me, the easiest way to monitor the 128.85-132.0 frequency range is to devote one scanner just for this sole purpose and program in all 127 frequencies. By doing it this way, I never have to be concerned with a new frequency being added. If one or more frequencies are undesired, just lock them out.

Hi: I also find them interesting at times and find in my area-Denver- that they can be found all the way up to 134.7, so you might not want to limit yourself to 132.00. I have heard not only the boring request for "specials" like wheelchairs, but reports of malfunctions and trouble with a passenger, etc. so I check them out from time to time. Adkad
