I just had a quick question, and thought this would be the best place to find the answer. I live in Glendale, and for the last few years I have been addicted to 155.325, Air Evac dispatch. I am a pilot and an EMT in training, so being able to the pilots and nurses on that frequency has been a source of great enjoyment for a long time for me. The problem is that now I am in college at Northern Arizona University, obviously a fair deal away from my home in Phoenix. Since I've been up here, I've been having a heck of a time getting used to not having the ability to listen to AirEvac. So, my question is simply whether anyone knows of an online feed of 155.325, so I can tune in up here.

If not (and I don't think there is), then I would like to find a way to make it happen. Either find a way to pay someone to stream it, or find a way to hook it all up myself through my own scanner and computer in Phoenix.

But, before I go that route, I'd like to just make darn sure that one doesn't already exist.

I can add it to my feed. I'm currently streaming East Valley DPS and Chandler PD, along with some news ENG freq's and Chandler fireground comms. (Used to have Tempe in there too, but their recent switch to 700MHz has left me in the dark).

Thank you very much for your offer, and thank you very much for all of the feeds you have running, I've enjoyed them all greatly since I've been up here. However, I'm looking to find a dedicated feed that doesn't have any other frequencies on it. That way I can let it run constantly here in my dorm room, and have it only grab my attention when AirEvac is dispatching something. On feeds with lots of freq's, the constant talking might be a little bit too much for my roommate :)

I very much appreciate your offer, though. I'm thinking I'm probably going to need to set it up myself (after I learn how). I know there probably aren't many people who are willing to dedicate a feed to a freq that only dispatches every few hours or so.

Well in that case, I recommend Icecast running as the server at home, with some sort of remote login option that you can use to restart the feed if your computer reboots, etc. Lots of info on the net on how to set it up and configure it.

You also might want to check with Gordon over at ScanAmerica.us - he provides free stream hosting for scanner feeds, which is where my scanner is currently hosted. That way you don't have to worry quite as much about using alot of bandwidth in case bunches of people jump on that AirEvac feed.
