Air Evac has bought some land from JPMC in Mayfield ky, and will be putting a base in some time this year. yall keep your ears open for their Freqs for me and if i figure it out before its posted then ill post it... thanks in advance

I am monitoring them on 151.505. FCC database list this as itinerant base and mobile use and 158.4 as mobile itinerant use.

AEL uses a number of freqs seemingly interchangeably.... keep them all programmed and the listening is better!

Keep an eye on the FCC database. Eventually they will apply for a permanent license and quit using 151.505/158.400 but it may take several months.

FOr now they have a VHF Moto Trbo mobile on 158.400 on the Mayfield EWS tower which is being controlled via IP link back to there dispatch center

I have been monitoring them for the past week on 158.400 and have heard them page them out to calls and was calling it the mayfield tower... However they was just on the 151.505 with same pl and calle that the mayfield tower ... Have they changed it now or do they have two towers. What's going on ?
Most likely it is WPYR891... This is their national itinerant license... Go to the Ky Air Evac Helicopters page in the KY DB and program all the freqs for Air Evac Life Team and you'll be ok to hear them... they use many freqs in this region...
