Does anyone have the frequencies used by Air Evac in Rushville? I searched Air Evac and Rush Memorial with no luck. Several licenses issued, but none for Air Evac. Where is Air Evac's Main Headquarters?

Most likely they are using one of the above, the one closest to you would be the best bet.
In my area I hear both Evansville and Paoli frequencies being used.

And everybody communicates with Statcare on their base frequency.
So perhaps you'll har them on Lifeline 155.1600
Also, they do use Safe-T in my area, but it is rare.

I didn't know there was a base in Indy. Maybe the Indy freq is the one used in Rushville.

I have 153.290 programed in. I have that frequency listed under Lifeline not Air Evac. I have about 30 Air medical frequencies in my scanner, and hardly ever hear anything on them. I live in central Johnson County and 155.160 is just about the only frequency I ever hear anything on.

This is from the Airevac website

http://rushville.lifeteam.net

The Rushville base was originally established in August 2007 in Indianapolis and moved to Rushville February 29, 2008 to better serve residents in the rural areas surrounding Indianapolis. The base opened in cooperation with Rush Memorial Hospital and serves the communities of south-central Indiana.

RUSHVILLE, Ind. -- Rush County is suspending use of the Missouri-based Air Evac Lifeteam because of a fatal crash involving one of its medical helicopters.

Three crew members were killed Sunday when the helicopter, on its way to its base at Rush Memorial Hospital, crashed in a farm field near the town of Burney in neighboring Decatur County. Air Evac, which also has Indiana bases in Brazil, Evansville and Paoli, suspended operations at all four bases temporarily.

RUSH COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) - The deadly crash of a medical helicopter over the weekend has prompted one county to call for a halt to medical flights by Air Evac.

Rush County commissioners and the county's emergency management agency director sent a letter to Rush Memorial Hospital. In it, they said Sunday's crash and prior incidents have raised great safety concerns about the reliability and maintenance of the helicopters.

I-Team 8 received a copy of the letter sent from Rush County commissioners to the CEO of the hospital. It calls for an immediate suspension of all Air Evac flights until a full maintenance review and inspection can be done.

An Air Evac helicopter crashed Sunday killing three workers on board.

An Air Evac spokesperson on Thursday told I-Team 8 that the company is currently not flying from any of its bases in Indiana. The earliest flights might resume is Sunday. Calls to the hospital Thursday morning have not yet been returned.

Visitation for two of the victims who died in the Decatur County crash will be held on Thursday. A joint memorial service is planned for Saturday to honor the entire crew.
