They use VoIP coupled to their home base station for dispatching. In the RR database it states "statewide". Where does "it" say that they are on the state system.

I could've sworn there was a channel labeled Airevac in Zone 5 of the state radios, but I'm not finding anything in the database.

I believe the "airevac" in zone 5 was the original helicopter out of Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa. I think they closed in 03 or 04.

It's 5-A in my radio and yes, it was for AirEvac of Tulsa when they were in business. 5-B is Tulsa Life Flight and subsequently, those are the only 2 "personalities" in the 5 group in my radio.

I heard them trying to go on something called 7A? it's not listed.

I also heard saturday morning that they lost a bird somewhere up north, they broadcast a final call for the unit. saying it's 10-7 for ever.

In state radios (excludes City of Tulsa) zones 6&7 are the "home" zones, so what might be 7A (main TG) for one agency would be in the Area Law, Fire, or EMS zones for other users.

The generic programing for radios on the State system are:

Zone 1: SMAs
Zone 2: RMAs
Zone 3: Area Law M/A (*may not be accessible in non-LE agencies*)
Zone 4: Area Fire M/A
Zone5: Area EMS M/A

Zone6&7 will be the TGs normally operated on by the user.

I think zone 8 is conventional stuff like Itacs and Tulsa T/A.
