Air Life Greeley?

The RR database lists TG 1917 and 1918 as AirLife Greeley and AirLife Greeley Run 1 respectively, but there is an obvious lack of radio traffic on thoese TGs.

Being in Ft Collins, I witness the chopper landing at Poudre Valley Hospital fairly regularly.

Are they being dispatched and communicating with NCMC on analog channels only?
Have they not acquired DTRS radios due to budget restraints?

Any info would be appreciated.

As far as I've heard, they do all their chopper operations on VHF still. I have heard the flight medics/nurses talking on the Weld EMS DTRS TG, so I think they have DTRS packsets they can use.

They are dispatched on 153.785.

Some med reports from the ship to NCMC on DTRS now but otherwise Med-3 and VHF.

I have hear surveillance airplanes complain that DTRS unable to understand over engine noise so use VHF or UHF to relay to the ground surveillance.
