YoShpe69 - Here's the process by steps & hope I didn't miss one...

1. Go to the SUA Web Site: Special Use Airspace & Air Traffic Control Assigned Airspace (This is the Graphics Map Front Page)
2. Click on the TEXT LIST "TAB" upper left of the frame
3. You will see the "Type" column
4. Click on the 'down arrow' to the Right of the TYPE label for a pull-down sub-menu
5. You will see a "Filters" label in the pop-up menu
6. Hover over the Filters label and
7. Another POP-Up (Filter Menu) will appear
8. Select (Click on the box) "Aerial Refueling Routes/Anchors-AR" < or other areas on interest; Military Operations Areas, Training Routes (Slow, IR.... or multiple...) this should display ONLY the AR's that have NOTAMS
9. Release back to the Main SUA "TEXT LIST" and all will be displayed
10. Lastly, on the far-right you will see (near AGL) a "Download" button" - hit the Download (if you wish) and save to Excel to sort, etc...

You might have to do a little trail & error as sometimes the pop-ups "disappear" if you move the mouse a bit to slow or fast...Hope this helps!

Thanks for the link info. I was looking at the link for MOA usage. Is that dictated by the FAA or the unit that uses the MOA. I mean, does Columbus Air Force Base notify the FAA that they are using that MOA today between 3 and 5 or do they look at that and determine when they can use the MOA? I guess I was wondering if that info was for CAFB or for private pilots that may be flying through that area?

This information is from prior experience and may-not be exactly as-is today - just generalized FYI ONLY.

The Military Operations Area's (MOA's) are typically a pre-identified 'area' in most (not all) cases and you can see them on various FAA Charts and the SUA front-page Map.

That said, most are-not (again with exceptions) "active" on a 24-hours basis.

When the Military Host Unit (CAFB in your case) needs to utilize that Airspace they will file a NOTAM to alert all aircraft of Military Operations in that airspace with dates/times (ZULU) and working altitudes and-or any special instructions, as required....If you look at the "color-coding" on the SUA map you will notice different colors, Look at the bottom and a KEY will show the various "timing" aspects of expected use. If a change is required the Mil Unit would contact the FAA direct for any changes if within the working NOTAM for that specific MOA, AR or Training Routes (Low Level, Night and Slow)...etc..

So in your area of CAFB the Columbus 2 and 3 MOA's have per-defined boundaries (LON/LAT) and the CAFB Flying Squadron(s) would request a NOTAM (via the process) to "Reserve or Block" that MOA Airspace for a specific day, time-range and range on altitudes.

-- NOTAM's are for any aircraft in flight (Airlines, Public, Private and Military) for Safety of Flight. and to ensure the Airspace is-not "double booked", etc.

Always exceptions and 'one-off' situations and this is just a generalized, high-level, overview of the process. Tanker Routes are typically coordinated centrally, via a Tasking Order (or like forms or formats) for either Training (running the routes) or active Refueling Missions, etc..

Again, this is generalized info and things do change and processes are added or modified...and sometimes a short-notice situation develops and thus you would need to look for changes across the day/night as some NOTAMS drop off (Severe Wx) and some get added at anytime.

CAFB Examples:

Active NOTAM's for your MOA Today & Monday < All Date Time Groups are "ZULU" (UTC) >

04/328 - AIRSPACE COLUMBUS 3 MOA ACT 8000FT UP TO BUT NOT INCLUDING FL180. 25 APR 15:00
2021 UNTIL 26 APR 03:00 2021. CREATED: 25 APR 09:05 2021

Thanks Bill . Really good info. Yeah they use the two MOA's closest to me just about every day. T-1's, T-6's and T-38's. What's weird is you can hear them but you will rarely ever see them.

That's what I have as well as sometimes can hear Sheppard AFB (Flying Training) but unless they are doing touch-and-goes near me (AFW Fort Worth) we never see them and they are ~50-90miles away at times...VHF/UHF with 100-200 watts goes a long way when your antenna is at +10K feet....That's why I use the ADS-B Exchange site when on a scanner to visualize the flights and if close might get a glimpse....
