Note in Monitoring Times from Van Horn that the Blue Angels are using new frequencies, so use your search in 137-144 and 148-150 AM mode.

Blue Angels have arrived. Heard them last night doing a little practice at the airport on freq
237.800 AM
I didn't hear them on any other freq, maybe do to my distance from the airport at the time.

Also heard other military arrivals on 257.800 am (military /civilian tower freq)

Wish i could get over there, darn job keeps getting in the way. The last air show i saw was in 1976,stationed in Germany. Have fun.

I work right @ the end of the AirShow runway across 80. Got to watch them practice up close and got great radio traffic from them as well!!!!

Great air show again this year. One disappointment though was that the B2 stealth was canceled due to mechanical problems.

Hah, now you tell me, man this kills. Anyone by chance hear anything over the radio about the problems with the first F-16?

Yep

He had a master gen fail and was unable to reset it . He did apologize to the Airboss for the problem and immediately left the airspace. He did return later in the show with a backup f-16 and did a great performance. I did not catch his callsign.
