Hi I am listening to 2 air traffic feeds via the internet of air traffic in your area. I was wondering if anyone can confirm the usages of a few air frequencies. than being said I was hoping if anyone can confirm the usages of 132.95,118.875, and 132.525 if they have active air traffic on these am frequencies between NB and Newfoundland.

Thank You

118.XXX are often ATIS. Automated Terminal Information System - Realtime Automated Weather and landing procedures. Maybe you knew that. 132.XXX are most likely "Center" frequencies.

You might spend some time tinkering around at this site:
Global Frequency Database: Details - Miami, FL/USA KZMA Center 132.95 MHz/132950 kHz - Radio Scanner Frequencies
and
Global Frequency Database: 132.95 - 9 result(s) - Radio Scanner Frequencies

I'm positive someone will have more specific information.

Good luck!

132.95 is an ATC frequency in Newfoundland, not sure of exact purpose. The others aren't licenced at all in Atlantic Canada, but I have heard Moncton Ctr refer to 132.525; however I do not recall if I heard anything on the frequency. My vague recollection from last summer is that the Moncton high level controller was referring to it as being another Moncton frequency, not an adjoining centre. For some reason this one does not appear in official lists, and therefore I don't know its location.

You might want to check out my site that covers Nova Scotia and beyond. My aeronautical section needs some rework but you might like to see my maps, etc. Link to site should appear here.

Thank everyone but I was actually asking if anyone can monitor those frequencies for a while. The feeds I listen to don't have a display of the frequency that the transmission latched onto and my latest flight tracer was fried when my last computer crashed. These frequencies would cover maritime between Grindston(Magdelen Isle) up to the Anocosti Island Natashquan area.I don't want to repost my query in New Brunswick forum since it will be deleted by the moderators as a duplicate . The flight tracker program I had before actuall had the sector overlays on it so its a bit difficult using a minimal tracker at best.
