Chargers, cameras, shavers and radios are easily identified on x-ray when you have been trained at identifying them. I would not say they are ignoring anything. What gets scrutinized is when you have multiple items layered on each other in the packing that requires a little more finesse when attempting to identify things.
TSA is not concerned with radios. They are looking for specific prohibited items that have been identified as potential threats to a flight crew or the safety of the flight.
