Anyone heard of Aircare moving to to SARA or ISICS? A fellow listener says he has not heard AC2 lately on the RACOM Network. With the demise of the Black Hawk county RACOM Sites coming Dec. 1st just wondering if anyone have heard anything.

Since you first posted this, I haven't been hearing any AirCare aircraft on the RACOM system. I haven't heard anything on the AirCare II paging channel 463.075 either, but maybe I haven't been listening at the right times.

Air Methods, which operates the AirCare programs, has been approved to access ISICS as a Level 2 user. Level 2 means they will use it for operations instead of just interoperability.
I haven't heard them on the Waterloo ISICS site yet.

For the first time in a while, I heard AirCare 2 doing their daily radio tests at 7AM on the Waterloo RACOM site. They made it sound like it was the first test in a while, so maybe the aircraft was out of service until now.

Last time I heard AC2 was last week. not sure when actually. But I have heard them occasionally for a while. but they have been less active ever since AC3 was activated. Looking at my unitrunker user file I have the following: ( i never seem to be near the scanner and laptop to catch AC2's RID.)

RID 2425 AC1 292 hits
RID 2388 AC3 235 hits
RID 2415 AirComm 691 hits
RID 1019 Mobile Care 1 92 hits
RID 1020 Mobile Care 2 46 hits

RID 1118 44 hits last one yesterday at 0703am
RID 2446 8 hits last one yesterday at 1903pm
RID 2447 0 hits last hit was Dec. 25, 2017
RID 2448 0 hits last hit was July 13, 2018

I reset the counter every so often but don't remember when I did it last. So not sure but the hits may be for at least two and half weeks to three weeks.
