If I'm not mistaken, Airdrie Fire is no longer on 169.740, and Airdrie EMS no longer using 171.270. Also I have not been hearing Cochrane EMS on 424.3125 anymore. Did they also go to Telus Mike? I have been having problems withe changes to RR.Com's database plus finding trunking frequencies, so it is not that I'm to lazy to do a search.

The latest info my friend in Cochrane Emergency Services (new name for the fire department) provided to me has only fire related channels. Fire is now permanently patched to 753F trunk channel C16 on two repeaters - one in Cochrane and one in Redwood Meadows. They have a handful of other repeaters and simplex channels for tactical/fireground/training/etc use. IIRC 424.3125 has been "recycled" with a different PL code.

Airdrie Fire is still using 169.74. I'm not sure if 171.27 is being used for anything, but EMS is not there.

Airdrie/Cochrane

Thanks for the reply. Airdrie EMS were for sure on 171.270, but I have not heard anything on that frequency for quite awhile now. If Cochranes PL has changed, and I do not program PL's into my scanners, should I not still hear radio traffic? Maybe it is I have been monitoring when Chocrane has been quiet, as they are (or where) dispatched from Calgary.

Airdrie EMS and Cochrane EMS essentially no longer exist now that they are part of AHS. I know they used to be on those frequencies, but they aren't any longer. Due to my job I can't comment any further on that.

If you don't program in a CTCSS (PL) tone, you will hear whatever's on the frequency regardless of what PL they're using. For 424.3125, the programming in my department radio says that's now a simplex fire tac channel.
