Coast Guard Jacksonville has reported that the Airforce is conducting under water detonations in position 28 26.72 north 08 30.69 west you are to keep a 2 mile radius from that position untill 13: 00 hrs on 6/28

Also, the OP got his longitude wrong. The correct location should be 80 30.69 west. Otherwise the under water detenation(s) will be under the sands of Africa!

AF does drop depth charges that's a fact. But what threw me was the location being in Africa!? And I just bundered in with my keyboard instead of my mind!

Comes from being a lifer's brat and spending time in exotic locations like the Azores I guess. I saw Coast Guard Jacksonville and didn't really pay attention to the lat/long.
