So below are some of the install pics and views I have from the top of my building. It took about 1 hour from start to finish for the install. I now have the maximum possible range that airnav allows and a perfect 360 degree field of view. I am located a few kilometers from toronto's CYYZ airport and it is great watching the planes land all the way down to the ground, then taxi to the gate.

I seriously doubt anyone else in the world has a permanent install higher then this with a 360 degree view.

cheers

In this Picture you can see the control tower for CYYZ just to the left of the Hydro Tower

Radarbox antenna

Could you post a screenshot of the range with this setup? Looks great! How much of the coax is exposed does it go down that air duct?

Sure, but I want the polar diagram to fill up a bit more before I do. I just did it last night so lets give it a few days.

About 17 feet of coax is exposed on the roof, then it comes down the side of the building about 18 feet, then the rest of my cable is rolled up on my balcony, so it is shielded somewhat. All connections were triple wrapped with scotch electrical tape.
