UPDATE: No injuries in emergency landing at Jackson County Airport

An emergency landing at the Jackson County Airport this afternoon brought firefighters to the airport, but there were no injuries.
Firefighters responded to a report of an airplane on fire in the air. Police said there was smoke in the cockpit, but there were no flames when the plane was on the ground. The plane was en route from Grand Rapids to the Akron, Ohio, area with four people on board.
