Having quite the time trying to identify the following in LAS airport

Frontier Airlines
G2 Wheelchairs
Swissport
Avelo

Either the information is missing from RR or received signal does not match information on the FCC ULS.

There may be other things in missing but I'm not able to go through the list at this time.

Avelo here in Ct. uses simplex DMR on 468.8625 CC6. I found it by looking what they are using in other parts of the country, and gave it a try here.
Willing to bet it is the same there. Give it a shot. But they use 5 watt portables, so you must be close by.

There is absolutely no way you'd get an even semi reliable signal from the gate to ticket counter/baggage claim here in Vegas. But that could also be an input frequency as well elsewhere in the country.

I am 7.1 miles from the airport as the crow flies and hear most of the transmissions. Granted, I am on the water and it is line of sight pretty much. And I am using Yagis which helps.

You're lucky.

I actually meant staff in the airport communicating with each other. Too much concrete. Honestly I'd doubt a handheld would make it a mile. At least locally

Just a point of observation, Frontier Airlines radio traffic should be changing soon as they have ended the Maintenance contract with CAS. Avelo has very few flights in/out of KLAS so not much radio traffic. G2 should be busy they have DMR but only good for a 5 mile radius. No repeaters for that company. Swissport I’ll have to load them up and try. I know they have fuelers, maybe some rampers over at the D gates? Not really sure how busy they are?

G2 has no repeaters? How exactly are they getting out then? I've done tests on GMRS and UHF does not travel between T1 and T3.

Swissport has cargo, fuelers. I'm looking for gate agents. They have exclusively international contracts with the likes of Virgin, BA, and a few Canadian and Mexican airlines.

If you can get Frontier information I'd appreciate it. I suspect they're leasing frequencies which makes it almost impossible

Plenty of simplex LMR comms at McCarran. Other than the VHF-AM 'Company' channels, Swissport et al. mostly use UHF repeaters. I'm listening to Swissport gate agents right now from about 12 miles away.... I can hear some simplex ramp ops too.

You need to learn how to SEARCH -- both the FCC ULS (hint: Swissport has a couple licenses, at-least one expired, but freqs still in-use), and search RF spectrum. Search RF from around the vicinity of the airport & you'll catch them, regardless of whether the FCC license is in their name, they're leasing airtime from a service provider, or there is no license. I don't know about "G2," but in the past I've logged two LAS wheelchair service releated repeaters, one used by Frontline Security Inc & the other SAS, Inc.

I have Prospect wheelchairs. G2 used to be SAS. The third agency, MGS does not use radios that I've seen. They're quite new. Couple months old.

You're right my search abilities are limited. Which is why I'm reaching out. I'm going to have to take a closer look at Swissport. RR has Swissport Cargo but I can't seem to hear anything that sound like gate agents. I'd certainly appreciate some help with it all.

Ooooh. That's interesting. Thank you
I did find Swissport but I can't figure out whether it's ramp or gate. Usually they're separate frequencies. Between RR and the ULS I've got a few options but only one seems active. Prospect I know is listed as Porters here.
SAS I've seen frequencies but the traffic doesn't seem to match that of a Wheelchair agency.

I live 7.15 miles as the crow flies (line of sight measurement) to HVN , and I hear I would estimate 90% of the portable simplex comms from Avelo on DMR 468.8625 here. Using TRX-1 or Anytone 868 with 8 element UHF Yagi up 15 feet.
Nothing on the 460.8125 Avelo freq. yet. And they are very active this morning on the 468.8625 freq.
Breaking News...
For the heck of it, I put in 465.8125 DMR simplex, and bingo. They are using it with CC7. TG1. I'll update when I determine what they are using it for. Maybe used in Vegas also, @KC8UOK be aware...
