Airport officials say an airliner en route to San Francisco from Denver has been diverted to Salt Lake City following a bomb threat.

Salt Lake City Superintendent of Airport Operations Dave Korzep says the plane has been sequestered away from the terminal. He says the FBI and airport police are on scene searching the plane.

The 193 passengers and six crew on board United Flight 741 are being transport by buses to the terminal.

Korzep had no details on the threat. The FBI in Salt Lake City said it couldn't confirm anything.

A United spokesperson says the flight was diverted as a precaution.

No injuries have been reported.

SALT LAKE CITY -- A United Airlines flight out of Denver was diverted to Salt Lake International around 10 a.m. after a bomb threat on board that plane. The threat was found on a note, but we do not know exactly what it said or where it was found.

Flight 741 was on its way to San Francisco. Airport officials confirm there were 193 passengers and 6 crew members on board.

The Boeing 757 is parked at the Northwest corner of the airport on runway 34. People are being unloaded onto buses.

The FBI, ATF, Salt Lake City Fire Department and bomb-sniffing dogs are on the scene.
